In my efforts to resolve the issue of the missing UPS packages I’m attempting to communicate with my neighbor, who is the owner of the felonious Labrador in question. While I’ve not yet gotten a one-on-one conversation the message he left on my machine this morning isn’t encouraging.

I’ve known this neighbor for years (as he’s the only one within a 1/2 mile) and he’s a great guy. I know he will be more than willing to pay for the losses but with one caveat, if he has the cash. I just found out he’s been layed off for a few months.

We’ll see, I guess.
