Don’t bother with burglary
Britian has found a way to solve their growing crime problem. Ignore it. Under new guidelines police are not to bother with reports of certain types of crime, including burglary and assault unless there is immediately available evidence that would lead to closing the case.
After last years botched crime statistics fiasco other ways to hide the growing epidemic in Britian has lead to this. Under reporting crime and/or only documenting crime where the perps can be caught and punished will surely make the effected agencies look good.
What it doesn’t do is address the epidemic, protect the citizens who have now been legally barred from protecting themselves, or punish the guilty. Some solution. This could be America’s future if we do not remain vigilant.
