Ugh…
Two right minded decisions from the Supreme Court sure started the week off well. Then Fred Thompson, always a favorite, challenging Martin Sheen to a debate over Iraq, and doing commercials supporting President Bush and thanking him is icing on the cake.
I just saw a commercial that immediately broght my blood to a steady simmer. Opra is going to increase exposure to a piece of trash called Bowling for Columbine, by Michael Moore. I hold little hope this will be a fair and balanced discussion. The commercials are of Opra spouting sensationalized numbers about how bad we are, everyone killing everyone in the US. But then the left never did let facts stand in the way of an agenda. What that agenda is scares me more then a potential war with Iraq (then Iran, then Syria…). I am sure the conspiracy nuts out there are wondering if it is any coincendence that Opra made the Billionaire list this week, as well.
At least one small cog in the leftist propaganda machine seems about to expire. Salon.com is gasping its last breath and will likely fold soon. None too soon. I find it terribly ironic that this rag, another apologist for appeasment and liberalism, has been so busy toting the leftist/liberal line that they don’t even realize that even as they make excuses for Saddam they fuel the Islamic extremists and make their point for them.
A typical Salon article lead-in is this gem, “A supposedly straight male co-worker wants to have sex with me and my boyfriend. Should we oblige him?” . This is enough to raise the hackles in most of conservative minded mid-westerners, let alone fundamental Islamists.
Does anyone else wonder of the motives of the left? They defend the likes of Saddam, then prove how depraved the US has become? These people are truly evil and wish to destroy America.
