Corporate America

One thing I’ve learned over the past few years is that “Team Player” means “come along now and don’t make a fuss”. Yeah, right, only for so long as they are the team capitain and you don’t make any waves because then “no one is indespensible”. You know that this is exactly the case when “collaboration” meetings are actually lectures on how things will proceed and any opposition is quickly cornered like a rodent in the kitchen. And when a man of ability is intentionally challenged to the breaking point just to see how long he can take it. Corporations wonder why employees no longer display much if any loyalty, because loyalty is just as much a top-down thing and corporate America has long fogotten that.
