OpenOffice
My bud Jeff recently posted a few comments on his initial experiance with OpenOffice.org’s suite on Windows. I’ve also found it a suitable replacement for the “other” office suite and have noted that here before.
What a lot of people also do not know is that OpenOffice has some nifty features that require the purchase of extra software with “other” office products. For example, OpenOffice can export a Presentation to Flash and any document can be sent straight to PDF.
It is my hope that now that Sun is actually offering support (for a fee, of course) for OpenOffice it will get a little more attention. Maybe…
