Sea turtles are nice critters but to force 24 fishing boat crews into unemployment over 60 turtles a year is as totalitarian as it gets.

And while these jobs are being destroyed the US market will simply import swordfish from Asia. Japan, Korea and Taiwan all have large fleets and are not effected.

Besides, turtles are edible.
