When liberals praise Sen. Lugar - “it is still possible to find someone in positions of power who will fight for principle rather than bow to political expediency” it surely reminds conservative Hoosiers how out of touch our senator has become in his march toward UN dominated globalism.
If the actions by Sen Lugar are so honorable why did the senator attempt to get the treaty out of commitee and up for an unrecorded voice vote on the floor without any public hearing or debate? This isn’t something simple like telling the Welsh how to grow their leeks but a controversial treaty President Reagan staunchly refused 20 years ago.
