illegal aliens and voting
It is scary how easily illegal aliens can vote thanks to the Liberal “civil rights” groups. Only 10 states require any form of citizenship documentation when registering to vote. That’s 40 states too few.
Everyone has to register to vote at some point in their lives. We have to produce birth certificates or green cards to get a drivers license so why not to register? Because the Left would howl “disenfranchisement” from every rooftop they were not shot down from.
Yet we cannot call them “unpatriotic”. They’re actually right there, I’d never deign to call a screwball Lefty “unpatriotic” as “TRAITOR” is much more accurate.
It is unfortunate that as much as I like President Bush he is far from blameless here, himself and the situation will not be pressed under his administration. But to a degree that’s ok as the states themselves are largely responsible for setting the rules for voting and registration. As the economic and criminal problems caused by illegal immigration become manifest in the various states the Governors or state legislators are the ones who are in the best positions to deal with it.
The question is how much damage must be done before the state governments will willingly face off with the so-called “civil rights” groups?
