Kyotonomics Debunked

Chris Horner unleashes yet another shot across the bow of Kyoto with Kyotonomics Debunked.

Of the 38 countries that “agree in principle” to hike energy prices 15 are part of the EU and only 2 of those who have undertaken to comply with Kyoto on their own have done so.

Other than 10 percent unemployment and next-to-flat economic growth since they undertook this campaign, stubbornly clinging to Kyoto’s prescriptions seems to be working out just fine.

The historical perspective those pushing the US to implement Kyoto, Sen Dick Lugar for example.

Every major economic downturn in the past century was preceded by the increase in energy prices that is Kyoto’s hallmark.

The bottom line is that the Globalists want to “level the playing field” for the developing countries by giving them an even more distinct edge in world trade. Only the heavily industrialized nations such as the United States, Britian and Europe would have to comply with the protocol thus shooting our energy prices through the roof and dramatically increasing the cost of everything from freight to manufacturing to food.

“Developing” nations such as Mexico would have no such restrictions and thus have far less expensive energy costs and a competitive advatage.
