Go ahead and blame it on the economy, blame it on 9/11, blame it on over paid corporate officers. But the real reason the airlines are in trouble is groping in the name of security.
When 19 of 19 hijackers were twenty something middle eastern men, most from Saudia Arabia, with eastern accents. Intrusively patting down 60 year old ladies is not going to prevent the next hijacking unless the hijacking is by those fed up with being groped.
Or maybe this is a hiring program to draw perverts to the TSA since the screeners can pull who ever they like out of the line up for any reason they like.
In the meantime, until I’ve no intention of flying anywhere any time soon. And I had planned to take the wife out west this spring .
