Sadly, the standard defence of the Clintonistas appears to be at work here.
IE: After some outrageous or illegal action they protest that the prosecution is just another example of persecution…and another myth of bias against these masters of slightly or overtly sleaze is born. their Chutzpah knows no bounds and they have learned to be bold enough to maintain their stance in the face of overwhelming evidence of sleazy or illegal activity.
