CT going after .50 Cal, too.

California and Illinios aren’t alone, Connecticut Legislator wants .50-caliber weapons banned, too.

You can’t tell me this isn’t an orchastrated attack on the .50 BMG. A big hint will be wording as I seriously expect a lot of the wording will only say .50 Caliber which could be construed to include at least the .500 S&W and the .50AE handgun cartridges as well.

Current federal law makes .50 caliber the largest projectile diameter a metalic rifle or handgun can fire. It has been this way since 1968 at the earlies and possibly 1934 but I’ll have to dig that out. Either way this cartridge, the .50BMG, has been around and civilian legal for a long time.
