Migrant’s family sues hunter, ranch owner over shooting death

It appears the Mexican Government is funding lawsuits against American’s for wrongful death in hunting accidents. Interestingly the defendant is also hispanic, or at least his name is as is the name of the Ranch where the shooting occurred.

First off the man killed was killed in the commission of a Felony even though that wasn’t why he was being shot (he was mistaken for a wild hog during hunting season). Second the “victim” was trespassing on private property.

While I do believe this is a tragic case for the “victim” that same “victim” is as much if not more responsible for what happened to him than the land owner.

But what really gets me is that the Mexican Government, who doesn’t give a rats behind about these people while they’re actually in Mexico, is funding the legal expenses.
