Adults Must Be Accompanied By A Child
If I were to see such a sign on the entrance post of a public park I would immediately consider its presence as humor. But apparently in New York such signs aren’t humor but part of a strategy to keep pedophiles away from children. One would think such laws and more so those who enforce them would use some common sense in its application. This is largely why I’m opposed to most new laws, not for what they will do that’s positive but for the potential of abuse by those who don’t care, haven’t yet met Mr. Sense or are power mongers. Plus ticketing a woman for something like this is extraordinarily silly since statistics show men are far far more likely to be pedophiles than women. That is unless the woman is a public school teacher teaching teens.
