Tom DeLay Indicted
Funny as I read the Indictement and see John Colyandro did this and Jim Ellis did that. I don’t see anywhere it says DeLay actually did something. And while I don’t make a habit of reading indictements, a 3 1/2 page one is pretty dang short.
Maybe DeLay is guilty but my money is if he were truely guilty of something then his opponents would use that as leverage. In that DeLay has pretty much held his idealogical ground, and has a proven knack of getting legislation through – well it just looks awefully suspicious.
There is a lot more I could write about this one but it’d just take too much time. It will be interesting to see what happens and to compare it with how the press handed things like perjury and Savings and Loan real estate fraud.
