Canada Liberal Part Pushing to Ban Handguns
Canada has tried to squash private gun ownership through an onerous registration system and enforcement methods that make anyone vulnerable no matter what they do to try and comply. This has resulted in rising crime as citizens refrain from buying guns (which was the unstated goal of the registration system anyway) so now the genius Prime Minister Paul Martin thinks its time to completely ban handguns:
“I’ve come to the conclusion that significant change is needed,” Martin told an election rally. “I’ve come to the conclusion that we should ban handguns.”
