Though read Cooper regularly I’ve never gotten that desire to hunt big deadly things on the Dark Continent. But a link on a bulletin board about a 4-Bore double rifle caught my eye. From that link I found the African Hunter website run out of Zim and with some very good writing. I was particularly fond of the writeups on the FN-FAL and the .303 SMLE rifle and the .303 round itself. Not surprising since both rifles served extensively in Africa.
