I work for a major food retailer , and at our warehouse , we have a lumper service , like most food warehouses. We have seen them go from only re-stacking loads to now unloading every single trailer that comes in , in all to date this lumper service has taken 25 union jobs. These jobs were the jobs of people with alot of years in the company many over 20 years of sevice. Now they are taking good jobs that people want , I know all these guys who have had to take other jobs they don't want because some scab company came in and said they would do the work for alot cheaper and no benefit package either. I guess it's not good enough most of our good automotive jobs left this country to relocate in mexico , now they have to come here and take jobs away from guys who are close to retirement too.
