Someone please tell me again how Bush is a “conservative”?
I seem to ask this a lot especially when I read how Bush is catering to the “radical right wing”. If anyone truely believes that then they haven’t a clue……
Not like that would be news either.

Wow some got it mostly right! Amazing….. Though the author did leave out the part about Reid stopping Republicans from removing the illegals == felons portion so Reid could lambast the Republicans over it later and leverage with the Immigration groups. Which he did.

That’s my boy! Rep John Hostettler slams lack of arrests at rallies.
“It was stunning to realize that so many lawbreakers concentrated in one area were given a free pass by federal law enforcement,” said Rep. John Hostettler, chairman of the immigration and border security panel on the House Judiciary Committee. “The administration demonstrated once […]

When the Indiana State Police decided it was time to get rid fo their Beretta 92’s the Glock 22 was a logical choice considering the Glock adoption trends in law enforcement across the country. The 22 is a solid, reliable piece on the conditions that, like any firearm, it’s taken care of and […]

Much to my chagrin it is that time of year again. Already I’ve been chased from my workshop by a dozen wasps and chased from the logs I was cutting by the same small black hornets that nailed me before. So this is a good time to remind everyone, myself included, to start saving […]

Seems like we should have heard this on the Mr. Obvious show but no it took Zogby to tell us the immigration protests are backfiring on them. The first thing that annoyed me is what are we, a 3rd world country where if people don’t like the laws they protest until the government backs […]

The news is quick to report on a scientist claiming his reseach was squashed by the White House but where are the reports of the Global Warming faction intimidating scientists who refute Global Warming?

This is why the terrorists are winning in some parts of the world. Their intelligencia is fully in justification mode and most recently in Britain they’re saying the bombs were a demostration and not terrorism.

There IS a problem with global warming… it stopped in 1998.
Who ever things the global warming debate has anything to do with, well… global warming… is a fool. Ghia zealots, power mongers and those who want to force the US down to their level so they can compete with us without giving […]

Not only do I love shooting the Winchester 9422 but I love looking at the prices on Guns America and Gun Broker ( $825, $480, $605 ). The prices are varying pretty widely but one thing is certain, the $319 I paid was money well spent.
The occassional missfeed is still occuring but […]

Is it really that illegal aliens are doing jobs that Americans don’t want? Or are they doing them cheaper and pushing out American labor?

We’re the only ones Nationally embarrassed enough to sue over release of the tape. The gift that just keeps on giving….
I wonder if the tape would have been released anyway under a FOIA request?

Something to watch, it looks like an ATFE Jihad Against Custom Gunsmths is underway. (Tell me again Bush is a “conservative”?) The roe here is over the definition of “manufacturing” a firearm; gunsmiths don’t consider it manufacturing to install custom parts while ATFE does. What’s at stake here, besides every gunsmith business in the country, […]

We flew Delta and had a good experience all the way around and every flight was early. The Missus had never flown before and oh boy did she have a good time especially during the climb-out, her favorite part of the ride. We went all the way down on MD88’s and on […]

By Tuesday afternoon we were able to get the power riser put back onto the house and the power company hooked us back up. It was well into the afternoon by that time but having power again is great! Being that we’ve lived out here for quite a few years the lack of power […]

Normally I’ll read about storms in the paper and they didn’t effect me but this one certainly did. If we weren’t at least skimmed over by a twister it was some mighty strong and mighty loud winds. Unfortunately by the time the sirens sounded and I got the missus to kick it into […]

The DST change went off without a hitch except for the last place I expected problems, a Treo Daylight Savings Time Change Bug. The thing is suppose to sync to Verizon’s network time but it seems when DST kicked in almost all of my appointments were moved back an hour as well. […]

The time is almost here for Hoosiers to adjust their clocks for DST for the first time in 30 years. For a long time while working only in local industries I detested the efforts to get DST back in Indiana. Strangely now that I’m working more at the National level with clients ranging from […]

I’m not certain if this applies to all Gander Mountain stores but the one I frequent on the North side of Indianapolis has started including the extended warranty insurance in the prices of their guns. This insurance has been offered to me several times for a nominal $20 but as I told the clerk […]

A Georgia congresswoman punches a capital hill cop who, not recognizing her as a congresswoman and believing she’d cut around a metal detector, confronted the her. Instead of considering the implications she decks the guy. Then not only is there no apology for her actions but the Democrat leadership (the congresswoman is a […]

My very first press was a Lee press and even though I’ve added other brands to the bench I still appreciate the cost/feature benefits of Lee’s products especially the Turret press, Pro 1000 and Load Master. And though I wouldn’t trade my RCBS Rockchucker for a Lee Classic Cast O-type press I would certainly […]

This short review of second thoughts on the Palm Treo 700w closely mirror my own. The author used his for 3 months and ran into niggling issues that would have possibly influenced his decision to buy one. Though I’m not regretting having one yet (the company bought it afterall) I have seen some […]

I’m becoming a lever action junkie and in my quest for professional help I stopped by Gander Mountain on the way home yesterday. Not much worth looking at and the used selection is at low eb as I would expect with the spring shooting season ramping up in most parts of the country. […]
