The U.S. has suspended arms sales to Venezuela which buys arms from Russia and China anyway. Anything Chavez is buying from U.S. producers is because Russia or China’s stuff sucks or its for their own internal use versus for redistribution to various “people’s armies” throughout South and Central America.
Yes! Finally Palm is announcing the Treo 700p which is based on the PalmOS rather than Windows. Though several of the the problems I’ve had with my 700w have settled out the simple fact that I have to reboot my phone sticks in my craw. Users can enjoy some of the same features as the [...]
I find it amuzing that a “secret government source” is saying to get new cellphones. I have to wonder which is preferable: old cellphones that are easier to listen in on or the new ones that track your movements via GPS? I don’t tend to read roundups of applications for operating systems I don’t run but the Tech Web rouding of non-Microsoft email clients caught my attention for a rather singular reason. Two of the clients in the list are Pegasus and Eudora. Now I’m not a big Eudora fan myself, remembering my experience with the [...]
It’s ok to make some industries disclose what their top people make but when it comes to media companies, those who are first in line to point to high salaries of others, it’s a case of show me yours but I’m not showing you mine.
