I have no sympathy for Star Jones nor Barbara Walters but the actions of ABC are noteworth…
It all boils down to “make up a story on why you’re leaving because if you tell the truth we cannot then trust you to tell the truth to viewers when you’re on the air”.
That makes sense to someone, I suppose.
