Helmet
After waiting for the helmet I ordered from Motorcyclehemets.net I canceled the order. It seems they’re moving and had been unable to process my order for 2 weeks when their website (still) indicates their HJC line will arrive in 2-5 days. Naturally the next couple of days I will need the helmet and I was able to pick up the same model for only $3 more from Cycle Outfitters on the South side of Indianapolis. My general rule of thumb is that if I can’t get it locally from Brian’s Motorsports (from whom I’m picking up my chaps this afternoon) or Cycle Outfitters (and a walk through the yellow pages) only then will I look to online sources. That’s not really a new rule, I’m only discovering Cycle Outfitters.

I think I sent you an e-mail about cycle outfitters , if they are the ones near Epler and Madison , I saw them while making deliveries not long ago, just haven’t had the time or $$$$ to go inside.

Yes, we talked about them and I saw them before I ordered. But all the places on the north / west side had the same helmet for $20 more. Since my normal path’s are north and west getting down the Madison and Epler takes a specially planned trip to accomplish. It also doesn’t help that their website sucks…
As a matter of fact if you’re looking for helmets they’ve got the Phoenix paint scheme (which I almost bought) for $159 on sale.
