Interesting that the AP would even write a small bit about the FBI blocking further investigation into the OKC bombing but they did down play Islamic ties to McVeigh and Nichols.

I can’t imagine, in light of the first WTC bombing attempt, why the Clinton FBI would be so eager to downplay that the OKC bombers were in contact with OBL’s organization. There had to be some reason we were looking for him when Clinton decided not to make use of the opportunity to capture him didn’t there? And, naturally, a domestic terror attack furthered the anti-”militia” sentiments stirred by the Branch Dividian fiasco and blowing up a building sure did that. As a matter of fact the news media themselves quickly dropped the reports that came out immediately after the blast that the a 3rd Eastern looking man was seen in the area and was a suspect. Instead the Government and the Media turned their sites on the survivalists and the citizens “militia” groups.
And the FBI scandle of today is they might be checking up on some hippies??
