The loss of human life is always tragic. But there is also a saying that if nothing else a person’s life stands as a warning to others. Recently in Arizona an 80 year old man found himself erecting such a signpost that will reach the criminal mind more effectively than a dozen extra beat cops. As another saying goes, there be dragons here.
