Treasure Stories You Only Hear About
We’ve all heard stories whether from friends or family of people who buy a house and find treasures in the attic. A friend of mine even found a Porche 912 in a barn once and was able to buy it cheap. But I’ve never heard of a guy buying a small farm that hadn’t been occupied for 15 years and finding a treasure chest of classic European cars in a barn he didn’t realize was even there when he bought it. This was in Portugal.
If you’re a car buff these pictures are certainly worth scrutinity. At least a couple Mini Cooper MK I’s & II’s, racers from Mercedes and Austin; Alfa, Triumph, Simca, Hilman, Saab, Porche, Fiat, Volvo, BMW, Lancia, Abarth, Lotus, Bertone, Bristol, Peugeot, and other famous European names that have not come to my mind in 20 years…. A Honda roadster, a couple Datsuns including a Z. Even if you’re only into American I saw Ford, Chrysler, Chevrolet Master, and even a Nash.
