McCain’s Republican presidential bid falters
It looks like the Republican incarnation of Howard Dean isn’t keeping up with his bid to be president. I’ve never made a secret of my views of McCain. Anyone a progressive says they could vote for is the wrong candidate for the Republican party else how are they any different that the Socialist Democrats? Sadly all but a few contenders for the 2008 Republican bid are of McCain’s ilk and serve to further blur the line between the parties. And as the Republicans move further from conservative principles, as they move further left, so do the Democrats. Anyone paying attention to US politics saw this slide start back around, oh… 1787? Though it seems to have accelerated in recent years.
