Fred Thompson
An electable conservative, Fred Thompson for President in 2008. Of course it’s pretty easy to stand out as the most conservative of the Republican 08 crowd since the rest of them really don’t even pretend to be conservative. There seems a mad dash to see who can be the most centrist / populist of the mad group. Still, as I said before, Fred Thompson is probably too smart to run. If he does run the past couple of weeks filling in for Paul Harvey can only help. There is a link to the Paul Harvey spots on the website, too.
