There are worse ways to spend a beautiful sunny day. By the time I filled up the last time and made it back to the casa I clocked 302 miles. I was fortunate to catch gas at $2.26 at 10AM (BP at I-70 and SR267) but it was back to $2.68 by the return at 6PM.

We launched from the Harley shop in Plainfield then took the top loop of the figure 8 counter clockwise.

My $2.02 camera mount works pretty well, too! So that I didn’t leave him behind most of my pictures are of the back of Marc.

All the road surfaces were great and the weather couldn’t have been better.

Unfortunately by the time we hit Nashville the second time around the leather shops were closed. Darn, guess we’ll just have to do it again….
