Banning Boyhood
We have been watching the acceptable definitions change for several years; male icons have gone from manly to little more than women with outdoor plumbing. And its all been so subtle, casting the macho man as a wife beater and forbidding boys to be boys. Add in a mix of self esteem and some unaccountability training and we have the next generation of neutered male citizens. Unfortunately they’re already here and the worse they are the more famous they seem to become. Except in fly over country but what do we know, we’re just a bunch of uneducated, NASCAR watching, gun toting, bible thumping, beer swilling, wife beaters so we don’t count. Democracy at its best, ladies and, uh… “gentle-men”.
