Thanks to the democrats Turkey is pissed off at not only the Kurd rebels killing Turk troops but the United States for condemning them for the acts of the Ottomans. So rather than work within the diplomatic framework that the Armenian Genocide resolution destroyed there are 80,000 Turkish troops on the Iraqi border and they’re now starting to lob bombs into Iraq.

Forget that the US government has twice passed such resolutions, that Bill Clinton stopped another during his term… What the Democrats see is the Surge is working, casualties in Iraq are at an all time low and continuing to fall. And without the war as a wedge issue they have no platform for 2008.

Enter the Armenian Genocide bill. Again.
