Finally…. The Pictures from Vegas
It only took a couple of weeks to choose 144 pictures out of 1088 to put into the Las Vegas 2007 gallery but it’s finally done. Though I’ve recounted the story a dozen times I’ve yet to actually write down the details of our experiences. Maybe I’ll get to a more detailed account at some point but the Cliff Notes version goes something like this:
Monday - Airport, Delay, Delay, Delay (7 hours), Treasure Island for dinner and walking the strip.
Tuesday - Hoover Dam, Olive Garden, more walking the strip
Wednesday - Red Rock Springs, Red Rock Canyon, Bellagio fountains, Red Lobster, more walking the strip
Thursday - Concussion, food poisoning, miserable 4 hour flight, more delays, more flying…. HOME
The rest of the week, Friday thru Sunday, was recovery time from my food poisoning… a great way to NOT spend a few days.
So overall out of the 9 days of vacation time we had a couple of really good days. The rest will eventually fade back into our memories but probably not soon enough….
