I’m all for protecting the whales and all but outside 12 miles I’m firmly behind the President being the commander in chief. I cannot see a government regulatory department being able to override the President and this ruling is a violation of the separation of power. We’ll see what happens but in the meantime the US Navy can’t use their sonar off the west coast. Does that make anyone feel safer or happy for the whales?
