Man Faces Child Abuse Charges After Home Circumcision
So this guy has 11 kids and circumcised his newest at home and the police threw him in jail for child abuse. Even the neighbors have proven to be total idiots:
“Sick, he’s got a sick mind,” a former neighbor said. “Anybody that would do that to their children — there’s something really wrong with them.”
I wonder if these folks had their kids circumcised by doctors? Just a couple of days ago a family lost their lawsuit against a doctor over a botched circumcision where the “professional” cut too much.
The dad has plenty of screws loose if the article is to be believed. But I think they have chosen this as a way to get at him for his other beliefs and has nothing to do with circumcision. Granted that may hinge in whether he did it right but if he hadn’t the article would have told us. The only “wrong” thing they could point to was that he used a utility knife. And while that may sound horrible that’s about as sharp a blade as you can get short of a razor blade which is what some utility knifes use anyway.
Update: the report in the USA Today indicates one of the children was “injured” and “bled”. Time and a trial will tell…
