Sealing GM’s Fate
In December my wife’s 03 Grand Prix GT went out of warranty. I’ve recounted some of the problems here, probably not all. But final nail in the coffin, though, came this week.
A leak in the horribly engineered fresh air intake allows water to flow off the windshield, through the venting and fill up the passenger floor board if a piece of plastic inside the venting falls of or deteriorates. Sloshing water in the floor boards is only part of the problem though. It eats heater core fan motors to the tune of $300.
Forever goodbye General Motors and all of your subsidiaries, that was the last money you will get from me.
Unless the car breaks down yet again driving it to trade off…. and I’m not holding my breath.
