Existing Home Sales Rise
I believe I mentioned last month that the housing bust would turn around fairly quickly as prices fall and bargain hunters get into gear and it looks like it is already happening as sales of existing homes rise in February.
I had noticed a number of houses in my area which had been for sale for a long time have sold and some are in the process of being remodeled but others appear to have families moving in before anyone even finished cleaning up the trash from the previous owner. Overall, encouraging news.
