Seize the Offensive on ‘Global Warming’
While Chris Horner goes on the offensive over McCain-Lieberman, oh, I’m sorry, Lieberman-Warner in other “global warming” news carbon dioxide is plant food. Who would have thought? Well besides any 2nd grader who paid attention to their science textbook.
Still remember those ‘global warming is making poison ivy grow faster!’ alarmist news reports from the past few years? Guess what, carbon dioxide makes everything green grow!. Yeah, I know I’ve just repeated myself but obviously the several times I and thousands of others have pointed this out over the past several years has fallen on deaf ears.
So here is the question: If we reduce carbon dioxide emissions to the level they were at 25 years ago there will be a 6.2% reduction in Earth’s “vegetated landmass”. That’s crops boys and girls. Including crops being touted as the salvation of an energy starved world.
But no matter, now that the warming cycle has ended so goes ‘global warming’ and the oceans will once again start gobbling up carbon dioxide (hence reminding us that the oceans emitting carbon dioxide was a SYMPTOM not the CAUSE) that reduction in green growing things is inevitable and without some communistic cap and trade scheme.
And we’ll all be the worse for it. Hence my preference to bring back global warming! It is good us.
