I absolutely love it when what is meant to be a hit piece totally backfires.
The top 10 things you should know about Sarah Palin:
1) She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power
2) She is opposed to birth control even for married couples
3) She believes creationism should be taught in public schools
4) She is opposed to abortion even in cases of rape and incest
5) She strongly supports big oil (her husband works for oil company BP)
6) She has no federal or international experience. Prior to being governor (for less than two years) she was only the mayor of a small Alaskan town and a beauty queen!
7) She believes global warming is a farce and is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species
She supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and anywhere else big oil wants
9) She supports Pebble Mine which will destroy the richest salmon run in the world
10) She supports aerial shooting of bears and wolves in Alaska
I’ve read this several times now and am still trying to understand why, with the exception of #1, any of it is bad.
As for #1 an executive firing someone she appointed or who’s position is considered “at the will of the Governor” is not a punishable offense. If she doesn’t like the direction someone in such a position is taking their department it is the executive’s prerogative to replace them with someone more aligned with the goals of the executive. Its called leadership….

#4 isn’t very good , and the last 2 aren’t either , but if the mine is already there and it hasn’t hurt the salmon yet ????
and aerial shooting , that isn’t sportsman like at all it’s cheating , now if they had attacked a person sure I would say do it.
#4 I can’t see a woman having to carry a baby for 9 months after being raped , I could agree to abortion in that sense , but for nothing less.
of course if the penalties for rape were set much higher we may not have that problem, I say instant castration with no type of pain killer none , a pair of scissors maybe even dull ones at that , and make it broadcast on local t.v.
