Ford F-150 SuperCrew FX4 Off Road
Doing my part for the American economy the newest addition to our vehicle family is a 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew FX4 Off Road. It took a week of shopping and on-line research and visiting no less than 9 dealers to locate it. The SUV market post $4.39/gallon gas has every flavor at $4-6k less than just a couple months ago - but not 4×4 pickups - the pickings were slim. In speaking with all the dealers that market isn’t the bargain hunters paradise SUV’s are right now.
Anyway, the plan is for the wife to drive the truck half the year. The other half, while I’m riding my motorcycle, it will sit and she will drive my car. My Taurus turned 193k yesterday so will eventually lay down and die. When it does I’d be really hard pressed to not replace it with the another (best $9k I’ve ever spent on a vehicle). That is depending on availability as the Taurus was discontinued in 2007. But the Fusion, 500 and resurrected Taurus label on the 500 have the same drive train - I think I can make do… 
This addition finally says goodbye to the Grand Prix GT, my last GM product will not be missed.
