Analysis of Corruption

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

I’m not really getting the whole corruption per capita thing since other than the House of Representatives the number of political offices isn’t that different from state to state until you get to the Township level. A State’s percentage of political corruption would be better measured as convictions by number of state politicians.

‘Senate Candidate No. 5′

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

If Blogo is going to jail for offering up for sale an Illinois Senate seat up what are the ramifications for someone who offered Blogo $1 MILLION for it? And if this one was #5 in the list what did candidates 1-4 offer? This is going to get interesting, I’d better go make some popcorn!

The Great Mystery

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

I’ve read close to a dozen articles on the arrest of Illinois Governor Blagojevich and have yet to see in print WHICH PARTY he belongs to? Now search for info on Stevens or that restroom foot tapper and there is no doubt what party these idiots belong to. Of couse we all know the Republican [...]

Don’t panic, the acorns aren’t gone

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

I’ve lived in the middle of wood, which are located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by more oaks than I can count. Most years there are some acorns, occasionally there are so many we have to be careful not to twist ankles walking across the yard. This year was a low yield year for [...]

Get ready….

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

In the run up days before the inauguration the anti-gun forces are out in full force. No where is it more evident than in the newspapers where reports of the 50% increase in firearm and ammunition sales also report the falsehoods of the likes of the Brady Campaign. “Common sense guns laws” is new speak [...]
