Not even a week after 20/20 ran their hit piece, a work of fiction attempting to illustrate gun owning citizens are unable to actually cope with the stress of a real life scenario a woman in Florida refutes their premise with real life.

What 20/20 hid from viewers was the “perps” in their tests were professional firearms trainers and I’d agree the average citizen stands little chance in a surprise attack by professionals. But then the entire point of a surprise attack is to gain an advantage and it works. Else we’d have stopped the Jap’s cold in Hawaii before they could sink the bulk of the Pacific fleet.

I suppose that means we shouldn’t try, eh? That seemed to be 20/20’s point - you don’t stand a chance if you arm yourself so go crawl under a rock and wait. No… don’t pray, that doesn’t work either….

Nothing like an excellent illustration of why media companies are failing. They’ve become propaganda machines, not news.
