Most know I’ve been trying to find Scout a home for some time. I’ve posted to several online classifieds and emailed rescues all to no avail.

Scout

On a whim late this past week I emailed an ad to the local newspaper and received 3 calls the first day and the 4th call this morning came to meet him tonight. Scout took right to the guy and more importantly, his 11 year old daughter. It didn’t take long to see she wasn’t leaving with out him.

So I walk him out and he gets right into their van and situates himself between the front seats with the girl’s hand on his head and away they went.

I wonder if the girls will miss him? If anyone does it will be Sophie as she spent the most time playing with him. The Missus and I will miss him as he was such a sweet fellow. But we’re also relieved to be back down to 2 dogs.

Hopefully, the next annual meet-your-new-dog event will pass us by.
