So the house has passed budget after budget that the Senate won’t pass but it is Congress’s fault for not paying the bills for a budget never ratified? Hm. The last US Government budget bill passed on April 29, 2009. The Senate democrats have since blocked every single budget passed by the House.
Add to that, after the 2012 campaign where Democrats took after any Republican candidate that campaigned on a platform of some sort of “we’ve compromised too much, time to hold the line” – and now President Obama says, effectively, he won’t negociate with Congress because, again, it’s their problem.
“I will work with anyone who wants to have a serious conversation about our economic future,” Obama said. “But I will not negotiate over Congress’ responsibility to pay the bills it has already racked up. I don’t know how to be more clear about this: no one gets to threaten the full faith and credit of the United States of America just to extract ideological concessions.”
And the Republicans are the party of “NO!” eh, since we know that a “serious conversation” means “one that agrees with me”… Our “it’s somebody else’s fault” President at least remains consistent while his puppets in the Media Industrial Complex goes way beyond giving him cover but fully pushes the WH propaganda even in the face of facts.
(I’m surprised the budget problems haven’t been blamed on an AR15 yet)
No – I’m not at all surprised – I just occasionally have to post a “look here” for no one in particular.
