A few years ago I switched from Red Hat to Mandrake. But Mandrake has one feature that I find annoying, urpmi, which makes keeping up with updates something of a chore on non-X and headless boxen. Now I have found a website that offers a urpmi source configurator. Enjoy!

KDE Mimetype Icon

So I’m a geek. When I do occassionally use KDE’s file browser I like my files to show up as the correct mime type. While there are a number of text files that don’t show up correctly there is one that I can and did fix with this icon.
