FBI + Chainsaw + Wrong Apartment

It seems strange to me that with the easy availability of breaching rounds that the FBI would use a chainsaw in a raid. Notice how the spend probably 60 seconds cutting through the door and THEN announce themselves…

First, chainsaw is too slow for this unless you expect what they got – a cowering family. Had it been bad guys in that apartment - or a resident who was prepared – there’d be a dead FBI agent or two. Personally the moment that blade came through the door there’d been slugs going the other way.

No it seems to me the whole exercise was psychological – or the local office is being run by a moron. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

OK, so compasionate I’m not.

But I’m seriously fed up with all the cost and regulation being placed on the honest tax payer over Meth. If these idiots want to torch themselves then I say lets take a vacant parking lot and and set it aside for them.

Probably better make sure its one that already needs asphalt and make sure the location is blacklisted for the 911 operators.

And set up a road block to check for finished product on the way out….

Supreme Court: GPS tracking requires Warrant

It is good to see a little sanity in the news occasionally and that the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that warrants are needed for the police to track you by GPS certainly qualifies.

That it was ever in doubt is seriously disconcerting…

The left likes to use new speak phrases like “increase revenue” to refer to raising taxes like raising taxes actually increases revenue. Case in point Illinois tax payers fell for it and yet their crisis just keeps getting worse.

I’d say this is refutation of the new speak flunkies but then they know what they’re doing… they’re just hoping the tax payers they’re milking don’t.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had Microsoft fanboys knock Un*x systems as outdated and archaic due to the lack of a GUI… After years of this Microsoft Server GUI is officially on the way out.

The latest Iranian Nuke Scientist take-down reads like a cold war spy novel… Kudos to the two wheeled mad men who stuck a magnetic bomb to the car. For years Microsoft fanboys have challenged me when I state flatly that Microsoft Windows workstations need wiped and reloaded from bare metal about annually if you want to keep the performance you had when you first finished loading everything. Yet what is Microsoft including in Windows 8 but built-in Reset, Refresh, and hard drive imaging functionality. Go figure.

Janitor with a gun

So a Wayne Township school system janitor was rumored to have a gun in his car. Not in his locker or waist band – in his car.

Apparently the rumor was enough to justify calling the police and searching his vehicle.

Now if you work for anyone else you can keep your firearm locked in your vehicle while you’re working. But not a school janitor on a non-school day.

Interestingly every person interviewed by 59 was female… A sure way to ensure a purely emotional rather than logical viewpoint comes across in the story.

It is a travesty and regardless of the 2 whole Mary Janes also found in the search I hope this guy finds true justice. Sadly I doubt he will.

Maybe he can get a job at Kroger?
