The majority of the parts started life as a Brazilian IMBEL FN-FAL rifle that had had the receiver thoughtfully torch cut for my protection. (see Fal1 gallery for more info). The receiver is one of Dan Coonan's Type 1 receivers. The Israeli specific parts/features are: 1) Wood Buttstock/ferral/buttplate, 2) Handguards, 3) Mag Release, 4) Charging Handle (forward assist), 5) Carry Handle. I had intended on using an Israeli gas block (taller) and rear sight but doing so would have added over $100 to the cost. Maybe later.. U.S. parts for 922(R) compliance are: 1-3) FSE Hammer, Trigger Sear 4) Receiver 5) Tapco Izzy Charging Handle, 6) Pistol Grip, 7) DSA Short Brake
