While I am a fan of optics, and while these rifles are worth of glass, there is just something about the standard open sights. The mount is one I purchased back in 1994. The large scope is an inexpensive BSA 4-16x MilDot with Illuminated Recticle. The small scope is a Tasco ProPoint that I picked up cheap just to try out. My previous attempts to use a dot type sight like the ProPoint did not end well as the large MOA of the sighting dot was unacceptable. This ProPoint is 1x and has maybe a 5 MOA dot? The rifle with the black plastic "pebble grain" stocks is British UBE(BSA) while the Coachwood stocked rifle is the Aussie rendition of the same. The Brit has a US made copy of the original Brit flash hider while the Aussie has a US made standard muzzle brake. EMail me if you're interested in which US parts I choose for each of these (7 US Parts required).
