GunThings G1 Kits (aka Set 1)
These are the 2 G1 kits ordered from [url=http://www.gunthings.com]GunThings.com[/url] last week (4/14/03). The pics were shot immediately on unboxing and unwrapping. These things are really icky with cosmo... These G1's were made by FN for the German Army in the late '50's and early '60's. They have the standard metal hand guards, plastic pistol grips and wood buttstocks (a later run that the ones with the wood pistol grips). The G1 has the bipod that folds into the grooves on the hand guards. Though I have not yet check the bores on these (to full of cosmo!) these are in better condition that I had expected given the feed back I've been reading. I was doubly surprised to not find any cracks, gouges or large dents in the wood.
